Liferia Beauty Box April

April 29, 2014

Hello ladies! Today I have a new beauty box review to share with you! I was so excited to get this box from Liferia, a beauty box service based in Ukraine. As a beauty addict I'm very curious to try new brands and products, and Liferia beauty box subscription is a great way to do it!
If you would like to get to know Liferia better and see what I got in the April box, please keep on reading!

About the service
Liferia is a Ukrainian beauty box service that offers a monthly subscription (1/3/6 months for your choice) for a box featuring 4-5 special size beauty product deviled to you monthly for just 179 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia) which is approx $16, with a free delivery.
The service is relatively new on the market and launched at the end of 2013 in Ukraine. Since then Liferia had some great beauty boxes sent out each month to their subscribers, featuring well knows beauty and cosmetics brands such as Essie, Zoya, Stila, Alcina, L'Occitane, Caudalie and many more.
The Liferia box also includes occasionally full sized products, and even the sample/travel size products are generous enough for a multiple use.
Liferia also offers an online shipping service that allows you to buy the full size products after trying the sample size that you got in your box.
At the moment the service is available in Ukraine only, but I was notified that Liferia are making changes to their service and site and plan on making it available to the international customers in the near future.

Liferia April box content
This month's box includes five products; four special size and one full size product, featuring some brands that I was already familiar with and some that were new to me. I didn't find any makeup related products that I was hoping to see in this month's box, but I liked the range of the beauty and care products that were in it. So let's get a closer look at the products.

EOS Lip Balm in Blueberry Acai / full size product
I bet there's not even one beauty blogger that is not familiar with this trendy lip balm brand.
This is a 100% natural and 95% organic lip balm with a sweet blueberry scent. I've used EOS balms before and I really love their packaging and great flavors, although I didn't used this one yet since I have so many balms that I need to finish up before I can start using it. / Full size product / value $3.3

Caudalie Makeup Remover Cleansing Water (30ml) & Nourishing Body Lotion (50ml) / special size
Micellar water for cleansing and removing make-up from face and eyes. Suitable for all skin types and suits sensitve skin. Calms and hydrates the skin with natural indridients like organic grape water and camomile. This product has a fresh scent and leaves the skin clean and soft. I liked using it more as a cleanser and remove residue of makeup that was left of face.
Full size product is 200 ml / 220 UAH at liferia shop

The  Nourishing Body Lotion moisturizes the skin leaving it soft and elastic, absorbs quickly and smelly great. The cream is enriched with Grape-seed Polyphenols, Grape oil, Ginkgo biloba.
I really liked this product and I think the amount is quite generous, allowing you to use it many times. The scent of the cream is refreshing and long lasting, I love using it on my legs and arms after shower. I would love to try more products from this brand for sure!
Full size product is 250 ml / 259 UAH at liferia shop

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil / 35 ml special size
L'Occitane's shower oil transforms in contact with water to a foam that gently cleanses the body. Enriched with almond oil, leaves the skin soft with a scent of fresh almond.
Although I am familiar with the brand, I never got to try this specific product and I ended up liking it. At first I wasn't sure if I'm going to like the idea of using oily consistency as a body shower product, but when actually trying it I loved that and the fact that it left the skin extremely soft and nourished.
Full size product is 250 ml / 249 UAH at liferia shop

Mizon Water Volume Aqua Gel Cream / 50 ml special size
A facial moisturizer with a light gel formula, absorbs quickly leaving the skin deeply moisturized an non sticky to touch. This was the first time I tried this Korean brand and I was very impressed with this cream. I loved the light consistency and how quickly it absorbed. It reminded me of the L'Oreal Triple Active Fresh Gel-Cream but Mizon's cream was less sticky which was great. The scent is so nice and fresh! I enjoy applying it day and night, and I think it will be a great moisturizer for summer.
The amount in the tube is very generous and (normally 50 ml is the capacity of most facial creams) so I think it will last me for many uses, so I will definitely call this a full size product. I also like that squeezable tube rather than applying the cream from a jar, which keeps it clean and hygienic.
Generally I love Korean cosmetics and skin care products, so I will checking this brand for more products since I really loved this one.
Full size product is 125 ml / 160 UAH at liferia shop

Overall I was very pleased with the content of this month's box and although I was a bit disappointed at first that it didn't include makeup or nail products, I was happy to try new products and I needed up loving them all. I hope you enjoyed this review and got to know some new products that you would like to try. I was glad to review the Liferia box for you, and hopefully it will be available to international customers soon so you get to try it too.
The April Liferia box is still available for purchase on the site, so if you are located in Ukraine you can still get this box and try these great products that I really liked. I think that 179 UAH / $16 is a really low price for such a nice box, so you should definitely give it a try.
Thanks for reading and see you at the next post!
