The Beauty Buffs: Neon Everything

June 04, 2014

Hello ladies! Today it's time for another The Beauty Buffs post, and this post theme is NEON!
I thought it's a great opportunity to recreate Sarah's Distresses Nail Art (followed by the tutorial from Chalkboard Nail), and so I did. Hope you'll enjoy this post!

Creating this nail art was super fun and easy, especially once I've watched the great tutorial where Sarah' explains how easy it is to create this gorgeous nail art. I really loved the color scheme of Sarah's original nail art so I tried using similar colors, and these were my picks: I used China Glaze Peonies & Park Avenues, Essie DJ Play That Song and Ga-De  Pool Party as my neons for this nail art. I also needed a good creme white and black, and wow cremes are my favorites for this task.
I decided to add a bit of holo sparkle to this mani with Barry M Diamond Glitter (which isn't that noticeable in the photo), and my nail art was done!

I also decided to feature some of my recently favorite items from asos.com since I'm really into neons this season, so you can see my picks in this fun neon collage.

NEON Everything

I hope you enjoyed this post and this fun theme, I would love to hear what you think of my recreation of the Distresses nail art (personally I liked Sarah's version better, but I had so much fun recreating it and I'm sure I will be using this technique soon).
Be sure to check out the other Beauty Buff's team posts below! :)
