Hello ladies! Today it's time for another The Beauty Buffs post, and this post theme is NEON!
I thought it's a great opportunity to recreate Sarah's Distresses Nail Art (followed by the tutorial from Chalkboard Nail), and so I did. Hope you'll enjoy this post!

Hello ladies! So yesterday I showed you my review of two PUPA Lasting Color Gel products, and as promised, today I'm going to show you a nail art I created with this pair, adding some stamping and glitter! It was such an easy nail art to create and I'm having so much fun wearing this bright mani, so I hope you'll like it too.

While summer is still here, I decided it's a good time to create another neon combo and play with the beautiful El Corazon polishes from the Fenechka collection.
These are such pretty "glitter" polishes (it's always a bit odd for me to refer to this kind of matte glitter, as they don't sparkle, but still this is glitter I guess), their formula and application was a delight. Despite the creme-jelly formula these two have, I got a great coverage with just two coats. I thought about layering the yellow neon over a white base in case it will be too sheer, but I was happy to see it was great on it's own.
The two colors I chose for this fun manicure are El Corazon № 423/122 - a yellow neon and № 423/124 a pink neon, both polishes contain the same mix of black & white matte glitter, same as the rest of the Fenechka collection.
For the photos I applied two coats of each polish, and topped them with one coat of Poshe Top Coat.
I hope you'll like this bright neon mani!

Hello there lovely ladies!
In this post I want to share with you another butterfly wings manicure I made with the Nailz Craze NC01 plate, this time I did a neon version to suit the summer time.
I had also attempted to film a video tutorial for you to demonstrate how I work to apply this design, but unfortunately this was quite a bad turnout and I realized that filming tutorials is just too hard for me. I get all so nervous and self consensus, everything is going so wrong, it's just a complete disaster! I might ask someone to try and film me in the future, maybe it will go better, but for now I will stick to creating manicures and taking photos of them, and maybe occasionally make pictorials.
Lucky for me (and you!) I found an awesome video tutorial made by missdrea33 on YouTube, demonstrating how to create the butterfly manicure in a few easy steps. I have to admit, I couldn't have done it any better myself! She does such a great job explaining how to use the plate and the stamper, how much polish to use and how to work best with the scraper. Her work technique is the same as mine, so I defiantly recommend you to check this butterfly wings stamping tutorial to learn how to work with this plate and get good results. If you are relatively new to stamping, it will take a bit of practice to align the design perfectly, and you might need to make a few touch ups, but I think it's worth giving a try to get these pretty wings on your nails.

To create this design I started with a white base (Wet n Wild French White Creme), and picked two of my favorite neon colors for the gradient - China Glaze Shocking Pink and That's Shore Bright.
I applied one coat of the beautiful Barry M Diamond Glitter to add some sparkle to my design.
I stamped the butterfly wings from Nailz Craze NC01 plate, using Konad's Black stamping polish. For the white dots I used the same white polish as I used for the base.
To seal the design I applied one thick coat of Poshe Top Coat.
It was quite difficult to capture
the neons on camera, the colors just didn't look true to life so I had
to work on the photos a bit to get a better result that will reflect the
real colors, and still the colors were much prettier in real life.
This
is actually my third recreation of the butterfly wings design, and it's
kinda funny to see how much I improved over this past year and half, when I first started blogging. The first time
I created this design was a year and a half ago, when I just created
the Nailz Craze brand and the first plate, and I was quite new to
stamping then (geez, what's with the huge watermark?!).
The second attempt was
a little less that a year ago, which I was also pretty proud of at the
time, but looking back, I totally like the current version on this
manicure.
I hope that showing you these old designs of mine will make you keep going and practicing even if you don't get it perfect at your fist attempt. And don't forget to have fun! After all, it's just nail art.
I hope you enjoyed my butterfly wings design, hopefully you didn't fell asleep while reading this post. ;)

Today I have some gorgeous polishes to share with you, these are a few of the new El Corazon (Russian brand) polishes from the Fenechka (Фенечка) collection.
This collection is inspired by the friendship bracelets aka Fenechka in Russian, these are all creamy polishes with black and white matte glitter. This combination creates a fun and cute look, the company defiantly did a great job with these colors!
There are 11 colors in this collection, in this post I'm going to show you five of them which I received from the company for a review. I'm also going to make swatches of these to show you how fun and pretty they are on the nails, but for now I hope you will enjoy these bottle shots I've made.

Hello lovely ladies!
Today I have another post for you featuring a design from my new Nailz Craze NC06 Tattoo plate.
I know many of you were curious about the sugar skull design, so I decided to create this colorful manicure for you to see this image in action.
I wanted to create something bright and fun, so I did a neon sugar skull mani, and this is how I've created it:
I applied two coats of my favorite light base - Lime Crime - Milky Ways to all my nails, and then I applied one coat of Out The Door - Northern Lights, just to add a little holo sparkle to it.
I picked the beautiful Lush Lacquer - Clowning Around as the colorful inspiration for this design, and applied one coat of it to the nails, leaving the ring finger and thumb blank for the stamping.

This beautiful polish was in my wish list for a long time, so I was very excited to finally use it for my nail art. It's an awesome mix of neon hex glitter in various colors and sizes, in a clear base (although I was a bit disappointed to see that the base of my polish was a bit pink tinted, looks like some pink glitter bleed out and changed the base color. You can barely see the tint in the photos, but it is quite noticeable over white or light colors in real life).

China Glaze - Hanging In The Balance
China Glaze - That's Shore Bright
Etude House - Scandalous Pink
Barry M - Key Lime
Lucky
for me, these colors worked pretty good for the stamping, even though
they are not meant for this job, and some of them were not as thick as
stamping polishes are. I personally don't rush to buy special stamping
polish, I prefer to experiment with the colors I already have, and
actually the only stamping polishes I own are black and white from
Konad, because it was hard for me to find these colors from other brands
that will stamp well.
The image of the skull transferred really good, so I was very pleased with these polishes as with the design.
I applied one coat of Poshe Top Coat to seal the design and smooth the surface of the glitter.
The final look came out very fun and colorful, I love the neon colors of this mani and I'm so happy with how the sugar skull image came out.
I hope you will like this designs as well, I would love to hear your thoughts on it :)
Thanks for reading!
xoxo

Today I have a fun and exciting post for you with some swatches of the new Birthday Girl collection by GlitterBunny!
This collection is the newest addition to other beautiful polishes (you can see my previous post with swatches I did for three more GlitterBunny shades) made by Nicole from GlitterBunnt Polish, and I'm very happy to share my swatches for this collection with you.
Birthday Girl collection includes three fascinating glitter combos, each is very unique and interesting. All three polishes contain a generous amount of various glitter mixes in a clear base, allows you to create endless combinations and looks.
I have to say, I was very impressed with these fabulous glitter bombs, I loved everything about them and I had no complaints whatsoever! Would I say these are perfect? Absolutely YES!
The colors, the shapes, the formula - everything was just great. To my eyes, this is a great collection, you can clearly see there was a lot of thought put into it, and event though this is a very small collection, these are all great and I had a hard time picking just one favorite shade.

Krazy Straws is a mix of neon matte glitter in pink, green and blue. This is a fun and bright combination of colors and shapes. I decided to pair it with a pink neon base, but I think any other neon or neutral color (white or black) will look great with this one on top.
Application was easy, and I didn't need to "fish" much for the glitter, which usually happens with large shapes. The surface wasn't completely smooth because of the large glitter shapes, but with the application of a top coat it was much better. I believe that a second coat would smooth it completely.
I applied one coat of Krazy Straws over two coats of China Glaze - Shocking Pink, and topped it with one coat of Poshe.

Rainbow Sprinkles is a sweet mix of various colors in hex shapes. These are also matte glitters in a clear base, they spread nicely over the nail with no effort at all.
I feel that these simple colors combined, create a festive and a cheerful look, and the name of this polish describes it really well. Simple yet great!
I decided to layer it over a light base, so I chose Lime Crime - Milky Ways for this job, applying two coats of it and one coat of Rainbow Sprinkles on top, sealed with one coat of Poshe. This combination reminds me of a fun and delicious birthday cake!

Saving the best for last, this is I Got a Goodie Bag!, a beautiful confetti mix of matte square glitter with a pinch of tiny holographic dust [oh, and also shiny (and beautiful) square glitter in purple and green].
This one was Ah-mazing! Even though I really loved all the polishes so far, this one stole my heart! It just screams "Parteeey"!
I couldn't take my eyes of it, and so did everyone who saw this on me (couldn't keep their hands from my nails as well lol, I guess people I don't even know, don't have any problem grabbing my hand and go like "Ah that's pretty! What's that?!").
You'll be surprised, but all that beauty is just one (!) coat, so as you can see you get a great coverage and a nice spread. Did a little fishing here to get all the beautiful colors together on each nail for you, but the result is great even if you don't to this.
It was a bit bumpy with just one top coat, so I would advice applying two if you like it smooth.
I decided to layer it over black so all the colors will pop out, so here I used one coat of Wet n Wild Black Creme and one coat of I Got a Goodie Bag!

My mani for the weekend is super bright and fun! I decided to create this neon rainbow gradient to match the cool neon bracelet I got from Born Pretty Store.
I chose 3 neon colors from my stash to create this design:
China Glaze - Shocking Pink
Models Own - Luis Lemon
Etude House - Blaster Blue
First I applied one coat of Wet n Wild - French White Creme, and then I blended the the colors on the nail using a makeup sponge, just like I showed in this post, and this is how I got the mid-colors. It turned out a bit more green and blue than I wanted it to be, but still the result is quite pretty and fun.
I added one coat of Out The Door - Northen Lights which has tiny holographic glitter, but it barely shows. I should have applied to coats of the glitter, but somehow I forgot about it and went straight to stamping.
For the stamping I used the swirly clouds design from Nailz Craze NC02 plate, stamped with Konad Black. Then I applied Poshe (which smeared a bit two of the nails, so I guess I should have been a bit more patient and waited a little longer).
I really enjoyed creating this design and I love how bright and fun it came out. I think I will be creating more rainbow gradients, these are super fun and pretty.
Hope you liked this design, let me know what you think!

Here's a little "pictorial" to show you how I created the base for this design:
1. One coat of white base.
2. The neon polishes I used.
3. Application of the polish on the sponge, before blending.
4. After applying the gradient twice, pre-cleaning.
This is the awesome bracelet from Born Pretty Store that inspired this design. I love how the colors blend in it and create this neon rainbow look, and even though it's not a fancy and expensive bracelet, I still think it's really cute. The bracelet is adjustable, so it will probably fit most wrists. I have really narrow wrist, so I closed it on the closest loop, and it fits really nicely.
I think it will be a great addition to my neon bright T shirts for this summer, which are apparently totally IN.
This bracelet is available in pink, yellow and rainbow colors (just like the one in this post). It can be found at this link, and you can also use this code to receive a 10% discount on your entire purchase at Born Pretty Store: PNL91
