Today's nail art is inspired by the fabulous Lime Crime purple lipstick with the silver unicorn imprint.
I actually came across this idea on Instagram, originally made by @vixen_nails, and once I saw this I knew I had to recreate this design.
I actually borrowed this gorgeous lipstick from a fellow polish friend, who I must thank once again for her help, and also a huge thanks to vixen_nails for the inspiration for this nail art.

I wanted to recreate the design and make it as close to the original product as I could. I was happy to discover that one of my recent purchase, China Glaze That's Shore Bright was a great fit for this nail art, and that my Nailz Craze NC02 stamping plate was just perfect with it's unicorn and stars designs.
I was surprised to discover that in real life, the polish I used was the exact same color as the lipstick, what a perfect match!
To create this simple yet gorgeous design I applied two coats of China Glaze That's Shore Bright and stamped over it with Essie No Place Like Chrome (I preferred to use a solid silver rather than a holographic color, which I felt wouldn't give me the perfect coverage). Then sealed the design with one coat of Poshe.

I was really happy with the final look of this design, it was super easy to execute and it resembled so much to the inspiration, so for me this was a success!

Today's design is inspired by a pastel galaxy nail art I saw a few days ago at Makeup Withdrawal post. It instantly reminded me of the Nailz Craze NC02 stamping plate that has these little sparkly stars on it, and the fact that I've been wanting to create a galaxy mani for a long time but never did it until now. So I decided to created this whimsical galaxy design with a few of my favorite pastel colors. You can see all the polishes I used for this design at the last photo.

I started this nail art with a lilac base Luci Darling 02. I applied one coat since the coverage was pretty good and I was about to layer other colors on top of it. Then I used a makeup sponge and applied light blue (Essence Sure Azure), pink (Essie Fiji) and gold (Barry M Gold Foil) polishes on the nails, tapping lightly on the nail. The first taps were a bit sheer so to achieve a deeper color I repeated this step once they dried a bit. Then I applied the gorgeous silver holographic glitter polish - Barry M Diamond Glitter, and stamped on top of it the sparkly stars stamp from Nailz Craze NC02 plate using Konad white (which was AH-mazing! First time I use this polish and stamping with it was just perfect!). On the thumbs I stamped the unicorn stamp, the whimsical part of this mani ;) I finished the design with one coat of Poshe.

I really love my whimsical galaxy nails and the unicorn is such a pretty addition to it. As it's winter time here, I could barely get these photos at a good light since it's raining all day, but I guess this will do. They sparkle much more than it shows and the colors are prettier in real life, you'll have to take my word on this one ;)

I wanted to do this mani for a while now, and yesterday I finally did it. I decided to make it a themed mani and called it Starry Night.

I used L'oreal's Mystic Blue which is a deep dark blue with kind of a frost/shimmery finish.

I really loved the curved brush and the application was nice though a bit streaky. I used two coats for these photos.

For the stamping I used Essie No place like chrome and Essence Gleam in blue with the new Nailz Craze NC01 stamping plate which I'm really happy how it turned out. In this nail art I combined the shooting star, sparkles / stars and the cloud stamps. I layered the cloud stamp four times over the ring finger to create this look. I didn't use a top coat in these pictures because I was worried it will smear the stamps, but if I would I know it would give it a great shiny finish.
I'm very pleased with the overall look and I really fell in love with this mani. I think it's my favorite so far.
