As a beauty hoarder I find it hard to justify my excessive nail polish / makeup / skincare collections, so I decided it's time to go through all the things I have (well, at least some of them) and see what insights I can share with you. This time I picked a few of my favorite and most used mascaras. Shall we begin?

Once I spotted this beauty I knew I had to have it! I can't describe how beautiful it is in words so I hope that a post full of photos will do the job :)

Rimmel Diamond Dust is a dark gray glitter in a clear base. It has holographic silver hexagon glitter ans loads of tiny gunmetal glitters which are really dense and provide a great coverage. From the swatches I saw I thought at first that it has a black or dark base color but it is actually clear base filled with these glitters. You can get full coverage with several coats, but I tried it over a dark gray base (one coat of Essence I'm The Boss) and applied two coats of Diamond Dust.

The applications was very smooth and easy, the brush was nice and curved and provided a pleasant experience. Once it dries it becomes a bit gritty which is obvious since that is a glitter polish, so I applied one coat of Poshe over it. It did not stay perfectly smooth for long so if you do want it to be smooth any shiny you will probably need to apply two coats of a glossy top coat. Below you can see the photos of the polish both with and without the top coat. Without the top coat it's a bit dull but once a top coat is applied it gives more depth and the glitters sparkle even more. I still haven't decide how I like it better but I know for sure that I love this polish and it became one of my new favorites :)
