OPI Soft Shades 2015

Every year OPI releases a new variation of their Soft Shades collection featuring soft and delicate nude shades, offering a clean and neutral finish to a chic look for our nails.

The two shades I got to try from this collection are Make Light of The Situation and Act Your Beige, two lovely shades that go great together but also can be worn on their own. If nudes and sheers are up your alley, then the Soft Shades collection is definitely something you might want to check out.

Act Your Beige is a sheer light beige in a jelly formula that leaves the nails looking clean and fresh. On my nails I have three thin coats and the free edge of the nail is still noticeable. I think this one could be great for french tips, but you can definitely get away with wearing it on it's own as shown in the photo.

Make Light of The Situation is an iridescent glitter topper in a clear base. It looks nice over any light or pale shade, and I really love how it looks over Act Your Beige. With one coat you get a decent amount of glitter that covers the entire nail and gives that glimmery shine. It looks way better in person, and you get to enjoy a different side of it when looking at it in direct sunlight or in shade.

    The rose/nude shade looks so lovely! I haven't tried many OPI nail polishes yet, but they definitely stay on so well!
