Happy Wednesday everyone! Today it's time for a new Beauty Buffs post! Today's theme was 'Yellow', and so I decided to show you my (very) small collection of yellow nail polish from my stash. Originally I planned on posting a yellow themed manicure but I wasn't completely satisfied with it, so I thought to show you my yellows instead. Keep reading to see which colors I picked to show you in today's Beauty Buffs post.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Oh how I wish we had this awesome holiday here in Israel, it always looks so fun and I just love the spooky decorations and costumes.

So I thought I should try to create another Halloween inspired nail art while I still can, and this is what I came up with.

I created this textured spiderwebs nail art with black and orange textured polishes, and stamped silver spiderwebs design over it. I really love how this turned out, and I hope you'll like it too. 

My previous Halloween manicure got many great comments and was shared by so many people, which I really appreciate and was super happy about by the way, so thank you all so much!

For this manicure I used two textured polishes - Zoya Destiny and Chic Sugar Baby 07, and created a gradient with these two colors. This was my first attempt creating a gradient with textured polishes, I was prepared for a hard and messy work but this turned out to be quite easy. I decided to use a bit different technique for this, I painted each half of the nail with a different color. Once the polish was relatively dry, I sponged both colors over the middle to merge the colors. I have to admit that I am pretty pleased with this gradient.

Once the base was dry, I stamped a spiderweb design from Bunny Nails HD04 plate with Essie No Place Like Chrome. I didn't use any top coat for this design to preserve the textured effect.

I wanted to show you a little closeup of Chic Sugar Baby 07, just to show you that it's not a regular black sand polish, but it actually consist of tiny shreds of glitter / micro flakes in various colors like orange, blue and pink, all mixed up in a black jelly base. I tried to capture the polish on the brush so you could see how beautiful and interesting this colors is. When it dries it also shows all these colors, but it's a bit hard to capture. A while ago I posted a macro shot of this polish on Instagram, so you can check this photo to get a better idea of how this polish looks like.

In today's post starring one of the prettiest polishes from CHIC's Sugar Baby collection. This is a hypnotizing blue shade with a shimmery sugar effect.

This polish became my favorite thanks to it's unique look, it's beautiful royal color and the fabulous looks it has with and without a top coat.

The formula was great, application was easy and percise, the pigment was good enough to allow great coverage with just one coat (but you already know me, I usually prefer two coats for a perfect finish). From what I've seen so far, it looks like the entire collection has the same great formula, which makes me like it even more.

For the photos below I applied two coats of CHIC Sugar Baby № 1.

I had a feeling that I should try this polish with a top coat, and I was happy I did. Tho a top coat cancels the texture of the polish, it was totally worth it to see this gorgeous sparkly look.

I applied two coats of Seche Vite, and as you can see this looked incredible.

Thanks to the glossy finish, the polish looked so sparkly and had a lovely depth. It actually made me think oh a blue and clear ocean, so lovely. Believe me when I say it was much prettier in person, so if you have the chance to try this for yourself, I tottaly recommend you do.

For today I have a first review post for the new Sugar Baby collection by the Israeli brand CHIC.
I will be reviewing four additional colors which I picked from this collection in the next few posts.

CHIC Sugar Baby № 6 is a light teal sugar effect polish. It actually contains silver glitter and micro glitter in a teal jelly base, and once dry - it has a glittery sugar / sand effect.
Application was very smooth and easy, not streaky at all, and the coverage was really nice with one coat, but I decided to apply two coats to make sure I get a perfect coverage.
Drying time was pretty fast, and the finish was gritty as expected with this kind of effect.
Thanks to the metallic glitter, it was very sparkly in the sun and looked pretty both in shade and in direct sunlight.
I liked it's festive look and how sparkly it was. For the photos below I applied two coats, not top coat.
I was pretty impressed with this polish, and I think the company did a great job with this collection.

היום אני שמחה לשתף אתכן בקולקציה חדשה שהושקה לפני שבוע ע"י חברת CHIC הישראלית. מדובר בקולקציה עכשווית וצבעונית שקיבלה את השם Sugar Baby בזכות אפקט הסוכר (או כשפי שאנחנו מכירים אותה בתור חול נוזלי Liquid Sand). האפקט הזה הפך לטרנדי בכל העולם ומזה חודשים שחברות לק בינלאומיות משיקות קולקציות בעלות אפקט דומה. למרות שלא מדובר בחידוש מהפכני, אני אישית מאוד התרגשתי כששמעתי על השקת הקולקציה הזו. נדיר שחברות לקים בארץ עומדות בקצב ומוציאות קולקצית חדשות, שלא לדבר על השקת מוצר טרנדי ועדכני שיהווה מתחרה ראוי לשוק הרחב בעולם.
כמו בנות רבות שרק שמעו על השקת הקולקציה, גם אני החלטתי לבקר במספר חנויות בעיר מגורי ויצאתי בחיפושים אחר הקולקציה החדשה של שיק. התאכזבתי כשלא מצאתי זכר ללקים בסניפי הסופר פארם, אך לא ויתרתי וביקרתי בחנות קוסמטיקה מקומית בשם "שיווקית" שמחזיקה לקים של שיק, ושמחתי לגלות שהקולקציה מגיעה אליה ממש בקרוב.
עבר שבוע מאז ההשקה, וכבר הלקים הגיעו אל החנות. כמובן שלא עמדתי בפיתוי - הצטיידתי במצלמה ושמתי פעמיי אל החנות. כשהגעתי, קיבלו את פני סטנד הלקים המדובר ובעלי החנות החביבים.

Today I want to share some local nail polish news with you. The Israeli nail polish brand CHIC has launched a new collection a week ago, under the name Sugar Baby. This collection includes 12 bright and fun colors with a sugar / liquid sand effect.

Tho this might sound like old news, I was actually excited to hear about this collection. Releases of new collections here in Israel are not that common, and mostly don't include interesting or up to date effects.

I was happy to find this collection at a local store in my town, and I made sure to take my camera with me to take some photos of the colorful stand and bottle shots.

The collection includes seven glitter / shimmery sugar finish polishes, and five more matte sugar effects.

Here are the five colors I chose for myself from this collection. I will be swatching them in the next few posts soon. I chose the ones with the glitter and shimmer effect, rather than the matte finish. They looked more impressive and interesting to me. I hope to post the swatches soon so you can see how pretty these are.

I knew I wanted to do this look from the second I had the Nailz Craze NC03 plate ready.

It's kinda funny that I created the Blue China design using the plate that I originally named Russian plate, but - it all depends on the color you use, right? :) So Blue China it is!

I have a feeling this pattern will look great with other colors too, but this time I went for the traditional white and blue combination.

I started with two coats of a plain white ( I used Chic White Flag), then applied one coat of China Glaze White Cap which is a sheer milky base with gold shimmer, looks almost like it has tiny golden flakes in it. Then I stamped the flowery pattern from the new Nailz Craze NC03 plate using Barry M Indigo which was pretty sheer but it created this delicate look which I really love. Then I sealed it with one coat of Poshe.

I really love how this design came out and I think I will be creating many more looks like this one using other color combinations. I know it may seem to most of you like just another flowery pattern and it might not be as exciting for you as it for me, but I really love this pattern especially since I had a hard time creating it while designing this plate. I'm really glad it came out the way it is, and I hope that some of you will find this design pretty and refreshing even though there are so many flowery patterns on other stamping plates. I actually put a lot of thought into this on :)
