Hello again! I'm back with a new review post, this time I got to try the Glitter Base by Dance Legend which I got a while back from Hypnotic Polish. I was thrilled to try this special base coat, especially since everyone has been posting about OPI's Peel Off Base Coat. So let's see how the Dance Legend Glitter Base worked out for me.

Hellooo ladies! Today's post is very special and kind of exciting for me! This is the first post in a series of a blogging challenge group posts that I will be making with a few fellow bloggers - The Beauty Buffs.
This group was recently founded by the very lovely Nory (you might know her from Fierce Makeup And Nails blog) who had this idea of gathering a few talented and creative bloggers in the nail art, beauty and fashion community from around the globe, and together create themed posts twice a month. I was super excited when Nory offered me to join this group and I think it's a great opportunity for me to challenge myself and bring a bit more interesting content to you, my readers, and also a great way for you (and me) to get to know some new and awesome bloggers!
The first theme challenge was Pastels! Oh what a great theme, so trendy and fun!
For this post I decided to create simple a nail art for spring with pastel colors, and this is what I came up with. Keep reading to find more about this fun spring manicure.

Today I want to share with you one of my recent addictions, the thermal color changing nail polish! I've showed you some of the super fun color changing polishes by Dance Legend before, and this one is defiantly the most interesting one since it has three color states, which makes it totally awesome!
Dance Legend Thermal Trio № 1 is a color changing polish, sensitive to temperature. It's hot state is a light blue color, and when it's cold - it turns to dark purple with a violet mid color.
The creamy formula was very easy to apply, the coverage was great with just two coats, tho drying time was a bit slow than usual. I don't recall having this problem with other color changing polishes by DL I've tried before, so it made me curious if the formula is different with this Thermal Trio polish.
The polish dries to a plastic finish (semi matte), but I decided to apply one coat of Poshe to speed up the drying process, also because I prefer the glossy look.
Playing with this effect is always fun, I really love watching the color change when it encounters water or items in different temperature.
I decided to add some stamping over this polish to make it even more fun and interesting, so I applied the swirly design from Nailz Craze NC02 stamping plate, using Konad's White stamping polish. To seal the design I applied one coat of Poshe.
I hope you like this design, thank you for reading!

For this weekend I have a stunning nail polish that was one of my top lemmings recently, and I was just so excited when I got to review it along with other beautiful shades from Dance Legend.
This is a stunning shade from the sand textured collection, and probably the most beautiful polish of that kind I've seen.
Dance Legend Amethyst (№16) from the Sahara Crystal collection is a deep purple shade with pink and violet micro glitter, that dries to a sand textured effect.
The polish in the bottle doesn't really reflect how it will look on the nails (that looks like regular glitter polish in colored base), and the textured effect that you will get on the nails is just mind blowing.
The formula of this polish was thick and very pigmented, but surprisingly easy to apply. I applied only one coat of the polish to the nails, and I received a great coverage. It dries quite fast so you will need to be quick with the application, to prevent bald spots.
Once completely dry, you will get the sand like texture, that is quite smooth and isn't bumpy as other sand effect polishes I've tried.

The combination of this unique finish with the gorgeous glittery color, is what drives me to the conclusion that this is the most beautiful textured polish I've seen so far.
And if you thought it can't get any better, just wait and see how magical it is with a top coat!
From swatches I've seen before, I knew it's going to be spectacular once a top coat is applied. It brings out the color and makes the polish sparkle even more.
I applied two coats of Poshe for the photos below, but that wasn't enough for a perfect and smooth finish I desired, since sand / glitter polishes tend to "absorb" the top coat. Despite this, the polish still looked gorgeous and very sparkly.
This one is now defiantly at the top of my favorites list. Even if you are not a textured polish lover, I bet this polish will easily change your mind.

Today I have an awesome nail polish to share with you girls! This is a color changing nail polish, that is sensitive to heat and cold. I bet some of you are already familiar with this kind of polish, and for those who are seeing this for the first time - I just know you are going to like this, it's so much fun!
The polish before you is Dance Legend 170 from the Thermo (Thermal) collection. It's a classic red that turns into deep burgundy.
The formula is jelly-creme, it was really easy to apply though while applying it, it changed it's color so it can be a bit tricky and deceiving. Once dried, it has a plastic (sort of matte) finish.
For the photos below I applied two coats and one coat of Poshe top coat.

First let me say, this polish is really awesome and fun to play with. It's so fun to see it change it's color while doing your daily tasks, and it might even surprise you and change it's color when you are not expecting it. I think my new addiction could be thermal polishes! :)
It was a bit tricky for me to take these photos, since it was really hot and I constantly jumped from holding my hand in the fridge / dipping the hand in ice cold water / holding ice cubes - to the sunlight at the window, meanwhile the "cold" color from the tips regressed.
Anyhow, I managed to take a few photos to show you how this polish looks in various conditions, and I also made a short video on Instagram, that way you could get a better idea of how it works.
I hope you like this post, and if you liked this color changing polish, be sure to check back because I have another (even better!) polish from this collection to share with you.
Thanks for reading!

I can't get enough of the beautiful holographic collection New Prism by Dance Legend, so here is another stunner for you, Dance Legend New Messiah (№ 7) - a gorgeous gold holographic polish.
Application and formula were pleasant just like with the previous colors, and the color is too pretty to describe in words.
The formula was surprisingly opaque considering this is a light color, so I applied just two coats to get this perfect look, no top coat was applied.
So what do you think? Which one of the three holographic polishes I showed at the blog is your favorite?
These are all the holos I own at the moment, but I have plenty other beautiful textures and effects to share with you from the awesome Dance Legend brand which easily became my favorite ever!

Another fabulous holographic color by Dance Legend from the New Prism collection is High Voltage (№ 11), a beautiful sky blue shade.
Just like Optical Illusion, the holographic effect is amazing and you can actually see the full rainbow spectrum. It doesn't take much light to make the holo effect shine, but in bright sun light it's just spectacular!
The formula was also great and very opaque with just one coat, but to get perfect results I applied two coats, no top coat. I think these could be great also for stamping, must test my theory sometime soon.
What can I say, as a holographic addict, these are just perfect and I couldn't ask for anything better. I definitely need to get more of the New Prism collection!

Great news ladies, I got some pretty Dance Legend polishes to share with you, so you will be seeing a lot of them at my blog for the next few weeks. I got an awesome package with some bottles to review and share with you, and also managed to grab some other beautiful colors at my trip to Saint Petersburg, which I just got back from last week.
Dance Legend it a well known nail polish brand based in Russia, and since they opened an international version of their site, you probably got to see a lot of their beautiful nail polish collections around the blogosphere.
The first color I chose to share with you is probably one of my favorite polishes at my current collection, and definatly the most gorgeous holographic polish I own.
Dance Legend Optical Illusion (№4) from the New Prism Collection, is a beautiful purple-plum color with an amazing holographic effect.
While I'm used to holographic effects being hard to capture on camera, this one was really camera-friendly and came out simply gorgeous on photos. This is probably because it's even more beautiful in real life.
I just loved everything about this polish; the interesting and vibrant color, the gorgeous holographic rainbow effect, the great formula (which was almost a one-coater) - evenrything about it was just perfect! Even the slightest ray of light made this nail polish shine like crazy.
I had the chance to try two more colors from the New Prism collection, and all of them had the same great quality.
For the photos below I used two coats of Dance Legend Optical Illusion, no top coat. As I mentioned above, the coverage was really great with one coat only, but I applied a second coat to get this perfect opaque look.
I really can't describe this beauty in words, so I think I will let the pictures to speak for themselves.

Today I want to show you a swatch of a gorgeous polish I received in a swap I did with a lovely girl from Russia, and I'm very excited since it's my first time trying the Dance Legend polishes. The swap was really awesome and I got lots of goodies and pretty polishes, I will share them with you in another post, but for now check this beauty!
Dance Legend 175 is a gorgeous polish that changes it's color according to heat/cold.
When it's warm, it's color is a shimmery berry shade, and a deep purple with a red undertone when it's cold. Both versions are very pretty, it was so hard for me to decide which version I liked better, but since it's a color changing polish - I enjoyed them both!
Since it's a warm weather here and my hands are warm most of the time, the color of the polish was mainly berry shade, but when I washed my hands in cold water of reached for something in the cold fridge, the color changed to the lovely purple shade. Of course I had to play with it and dipped my nails in ice cold water and then warm water, just to see it change again and again. It was so much fun!
As for the formula of this polish, it was fantastic! It spread really nicely and gave a pretty good coverage with one coat, but I used two coats to make it completely opaque. Drying time was pretty quick too, which was good for me and didn't affect the application (not streaky at all). The finish of the polish was somewhere between shiny and matte, and for these photos I decided to apply a top coat. It instantly made the color and the shimmer pop out, which made it even prettier.
I really enjoyed this polish, it's very pretty and unique, and the color changing effect is super fun!
I have a few more of the Dance Legend polishes I got in the swap, I'm very excited about them as well and I hope to show them to you soon.
Hope you enjoy the photos, thanks for reading!
