November 2014 Favorites

December 05, 2014

Since I really love reading monthly favorites posts by other beauty bloggers, I've decided to take some time to write my own post featuring some of the most used and loved beauty products of the past month. Hope you'll enjoy it!

In the skincare department I have some old and some new loves. The Shiseido Ibuki eye cream is one of my all time favorite eye creams; very light, hydrating, and I love it's nice mild fragrance.
A new purchase is the Avene Hydrance Serum which I really like at the moment. I got it while I was looking for a replacement for my beloved Shiseido Ibuki Refining Moisturizer. It didn't turn out to be the exact consistency that I was looking for, but it's great nonetheless. This serum is super hydrating without being heavy, it's slightly tacky upon application but it sinks into the skin rather fast and leaves it very soft and hydrated during the day.
Another oldie but goodie is the Caudalie Lip Conditioner lip balm. It might not be the most exciting beauty item, but for me it does wonders. It keeps my lips hydrated, prevents them from going dry and saves me whenever they are starting to chap. I really like this one, almost finished with the second stick already, and definitely going to repurchase it again.

I've been keeping my makeup pretty basic this month, and these three products were all I needed to get my skin looking flawless.
The Lancome Grandiose mascara completely blew my mind and I've been hooked on it since the first use.
Bourjois' Healthy Mix Serum Foundation is another recent purchase which I was pretty pleased with, it has a light to medium coverage and a slightly dewy finish. I have the shade 51 and it's a perfect match for my pale complexion, which is quite rare for me so I was pretty pleased with it. I love that you can apply it with a brush, a sponge or your fingers - it will always look nicely blended and flawless on the skin.
Another makeup products I've been using on a daily basis this month was this amazing Laline Creme Blush in Papaya. It has a light creamy texture, blends easily and creates a natural and healthy look. I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed with how good it is.

I've been using this trio a lot in my night hand care routine this month. OPI's Avoplex Cuticle Oil is pretty much my go-to cuticle oil (although I've been really loving some other products lately), combined with Lavido's Nurturing hand cream it's pretty much all I need to hydrate my hands and cuticles overnight. In case you were wondering what Avene's Cold Cream Lip Cream has to do with my hands - after trying it for some time I've decided it's slightly too rich/oily for my taste but it came in handy when I struggled with some dry patches in between my fingers.

I thought I'd include some non-beauty but oh-so-favorite items of this month...
My favorite fragrance of this month was DKNY Be Delicious - Super delicious, really! Iove how fresh and uplifting it is. I've been really enjoying it, although I can't say that the bottle is еspecially attractive nor comfortable to hold.
A recent addition to my accessories and jewelry collection are this simple yet beautiful Large Face Skinny Watch by New Look and these fabulous Stacking Rings by Delezhen
I'm going to do a full review on these beautiful rings soon, but be sure to stop by their shop and if you like what you see (and I'm sure you will..), don't forget to use this code to get 15% off: NAILZCRAZE15

I love searching for cute bargains on eBay, and while doing so I found this adorable Lotus Cotton Bud Holder. I think it's a really creative way to store a boring yet essential item and it makes a lovely decorative piece on it's own, even when empty. Really cute, high quality and an great bargain, don't you think?

Well, I think that's all for my November beauty favorites. I hope you enjoyed this post!
Let me know in the comments which beauty related items made your month.
