Hello ladies! It's been a while since my last decent swatches post, and today I have the Magical Pixie Collection from Zoya to share with you. I got this trio about two weeks ago with a help of a friend, and although I waited for a long time to finally get them (and in this time I changed my mind about this collection a hundred times) I though now is a good time as any to try them out and let you know what I thought of this collection.

Hello ladies! Today I have a special post to share with you, featuring a new indie brand created by a fellow nail polish blogger from Israel, you might know her as Jin from Superficially Colorful blog.
In this post I will be showing you my swatches for one of Superficially Colorful Lacquer collections:

Remnants Of Winter - Winter 2014 Collection
A collection characterized with very dark, rich basic colors with a touch of holo micro glitter.
These are NOT holographic polishes. They just have the tiniest holo spots here and there.
They all dry semi gloss with somewhat a metallic look to them, but also a tiny bit gritty due to the glitter in them.

The Remnants Of Winter collection consists of five colors with a pearly/metallic finish and tiny holographic glitter specks. Their formula of all five was similar and you can obtain fully coverage with just two coats.
They dry to a slightly gritty finish because of the glitter in them, but once a top coat is added, they are perfectly smooth.

Hello there! Well, today I some swatches of the OPI Brazil collection. The collection consists of 12 colors in total, 11 cremes and one duo chrome. There are four liquid sand colors that are a part of this collection, only available in a mini set.
I decided to pick four colors from this collection, and these are my picks (L-R): Opi Scores A Goal!, Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, Kiss Me I'm Brazilian and Live.Love.Carnaval.
I have to admin, when I first saw the press release of the Brazil collection, I wasn't really into these colors and I thought to myself "meh, these are just cremes..." but I decided to try a couple of them anyways, and I was actually pretty impressed with their formula. So they may be "just cremes" but I think there are some nice colors after all and the great formula is worth giving a try.
So let's get the swatching started!

The Israeli brand CHIC released a new collection at the beginning of this month. The new collection consists of six classic shades for winter, three of them have a glossy finish and three have a new formula with a matte finish. CHIC carries a matte top coat as a part of their nail care products, but this is actually the first time they are launching a color polish with a matte finish.
In this post I will be showing you four of the colors that I received for review.

Hello ladies! Hope you are having a great weekend.
Today I have a short posts featuring a swatch of a new color I recently tried from my favorite Israeli brand Ga-De Cosmetics - Plum Blossom.
I spotted this color and I realized I didn't have anything like this in my collection, so I decided to grab it. Although this isn't an unusual color, I still was quite excited to try it on.

In today's post I'm going to show you three lovely shades from the Fall 2013 collection by Pahlish, an indie nail polish brand based in North East Arkansas, USA.
This is my first time trying this brand and I was really excited about this trio. I felt that formula wise they were pretty nice and easy to apply, but I did ended up using three coats with all of them to get an even and full coverage, because of their jelly formula.
Overall I think these are great and interesting mixtures of color and glitter / flakes that I haven't seen before, so to my eyes these are very original and creative.
So let's get a better look at these colors!
L-R: Black Lace Elderberry, Fleur de Sel & Mountains Beyond Mountains.

L-R: Black Lace Elderberry, Fleur de Sel & Mountains Beyond Mountains.
Black Lace Elderberry - Vibrant purple jelly packed with red metallic flakes, small orange metallic glitter, and scattered holographic orange hex. (3 coats)
Well, you all know how much I love purple, so this one was really mesmerized me. It was hard to capture it's true color and how lovely it looked in real life, but trust me it's really gorgeous!
The jelly formula of this one was a bit on the sheer side, so even after three coats you can notice some bald areas on the nail, but that wasn't too bad at all. I think this one can look great on it's own and also with a matching color underneath.
I really loved the original combination of orange and purple in this polish, I think it looks great and very unique.
Fleur de Sel - Blush white jelly with a mix of micro-flakes in red metallic, shimmering white, and iridescent violet. (3 coats)
This shade was sooo delicious, it looked like my nails were dipped in a yummy strawberry smoothie. This pale pinkish white was really pretty with the tiny reddish flakes, and it had a lovely pink shimmer to it which unfortunately didn't translate to the photos.
Mountains Beyond Mountains - Dusty grey jelly with faint red shimmer and a mix of sterling silver microflakes and charcoal flakies with blue and red iridescence. (3 coats)
Another favorite of mine, this gorgeous dusty grey was really fabulous and I loved how all the glitter particles in it combined to an interesting finish. It made me think of a wet asphalt on a rainy day, gloomy skies and rain. I love how a simple thing like nail polish can make you feel all sort of things, it's pretty amazing, isn't it?

Today I am going to share with you swatches of five lovely shades from LA Splash Cosmetics.
For this review I picked a few of the colors that seemed most interesting to me from LA Splash nail polish range, so I hope you will like them as much as I do and enjoy my swatches.
LA Splash Forbidden is a dark vampy jelly. With the application of first coat it has a reddish cherry shade but when a second coat applied it appears to be more brown toned.
The formula is very smooth and easy on application and it has a gorgeous shine. Although it was a bit sheer at first, I managed to get a nice coverage with two thick coats, but still on the photos you can see some bald spots. I think that three thin coats might have been a better solution for this polish.
I really love this dark vampy shade and it's glossy finish, I think it is perfect for this season!
For the photos I applied two coats of Forbidden, no top coat was applied.
LA Splash Embellished is a mix of small hex glitter in red, fuchsia and silver holo in a clear base.
The polish is packed with a generous amount of glitter so it was easy to get a great coverage with just a few strokes. I applied one coat of Embellished over Forbidden, but I think you can get the polish opaque on it's own with 3 coats or so. I have a feeling this polish will be great for glitter gradients as well. I love how sparkly it is in the sun, and the holo glitter is a great addition to this mix.
For the photos I applied one coat of Embellished over Forbidden, topped with one coat of Poshe top coat.

LA Splash Glitz & Berry is a berry jelly with square silver micro glitter. In the photos it appears to be more pink than it was in real life because of direct sunlight. Despite it's being a jelly formula, it was relatively opaque with just two coats thanks to the density of the glitter. I think that it will be great to layer this polish over a similar base shade to get it fully opaque and get a more accurate shade in sun.
For the photos I applied two coats of Glitz & Berry and one coat of Poshe top coat.
LA Splash Crimson Tide is a crimson / brownish creme-jelly with small gold hex glitter. The formula was relatively opaque and I got a great coverage with just two coats. In some parts it appears that some of the glitter is in fuchsia shade but in fact this ic because the gold is covered with the crimson jelly. I think I loved this polish more in other swatches than in my own because it looks much more brown in my pics.
For the photos I applied two coats of Crimson Tide and one coat of Poshe top coat.
LA Splash Gold Seahorse is a sea-foam shimmery green shade with gold glitter mix. The formula was a bit on the sheer side so I ended up using three coats to get it completely opaque.
I loved the name of this polish and it seems like mix of colors in suits the name so well. Although it's a lovely shade I'm not sure it was a great match with my pale skin tone.
For the photos I applied two coats of Gold Seahorse and one coat of Poshe top coat.

For today's post I have a gorgeous polish to share with you, it is one of my recent additions to the collection and the first Morgan Taylor polish I own. Morgan Taylor is relatively new brand at the market, and I've been curious to try their nail polish myself, especially after seeing this gorgeous polish swatched by other bloggers - I just knew I had to get it!
Morgan Taylor Under The Stars is a goooorgeous dark navy jelly with silver holographic glitter in various sizes. It is just too pretty to translate to photos, but you will have to take my word on it.
The formula was quite thick and packed with beautiful glitter, I did feel that the formula might have been a bit too thick for me, but despite this I didn't have any problems with application.
Two coats of this polish will give a full coverage with a jelly look, but I wanted it to be completely opaque so I used GA-DE 472 Blue Blood (one coat) as base for this polish, then applied two coats of Morgan Taylor Under The Stars. To seal this manicure I applied one coat of Poshe Top Coat.

This polish is really beautiful and looks fantastic in the sun, the holographic glitter reflects the light and makes this polish look magical on the nails. The name that was picked for this polish is a perfect fit, the beautiful glitter in this dark navy jelly really looks like a starry sky.
I'm really happy with this purchase and I hope to get more polishes by Morgan Taylor in the future to add to my collection. They already have so many beautiful shades to pick from, and I already have some of then in my wishlist.
Have you tried Morgan Taylor polishes yet? What are your thougths on the polish I reviewd in this post?
Hope you like it and enjoy this post!

Today I have a delicious swatch to share with you, this time it's one of the new shades released by Seche for their new fall-winter 2013 collection named Clever And Confident.
This lovely shade I am wearing is called Happy As Is, it's a bright raspberry creme with a great and opaque formula. It was meant to be a one-coater, it does have a great pigment and a good coverage, but since I have long nails and a relatively large free-edge, I felt like I needed to use two coats for perfect coverage. I believe that if you have shorter nails, you can probably settle for one coat to achieve a great look.

I have reviewed two Seche polishes before, and I felt like they dried too fast and become streaky on application. With this polish I actually feel like it has a much better formula and the application was flawless for me. It also dried very fast on the nails, leaving a glossy finish, but for these photos I decided to apply Seche Vite top coat on top of two layers of Happy As Is.
The color is really gorgeous and classy for my opinion, it does appear a bit more pink toned in the photos than in was in real life, but still it's a lovely shade that I feel will be great for great for all year round, and not just for the upcoming fall-winter seasons.
Seche Vite Top Coat.
Seche Clever And Confident collection includes six shades suitable for the upcoming fall-winter seasons. The shades in this collection are very rich and all have creme formula, except for Intuition which has some lovely shimmer to it.
Wonderfully Witty – A rich navy blue crème
Versatile – A dark teal crème, versatile for anyone
Silly, But Sensible – The perfect fall burnt orange crème
Happy, As Is – A vibrant raspberry red crème
Clever and Confident –A delectable, deep plum crème
Intuition – A rich dark merlot with a slight red shimmer
Versatile – A dark teal crème, versatile for anyone
Silly, But Sensible – The perfect fall burnt orange crème
Happy, As Is – A vibrant raspberry red crème
Clever and Confident –A delectable, deep plum crème

In this post I want to share with you my swatches of the OPI San Francisco mini set.
My overall impression with this set was good, I liked the colors it included and the formula of most polishes was very good and easy to work with, despite the small brushes of the mini bottles.
I hope you will like these swatches and find this post useful in case you haven't decided yet which colors are your favorite from this collection.

Peace & Love & OPI - Silver based duo chrome with purple and green range / 2 coats, no top coat.
This is one of the colors that I was most curious about in this collection, and I was happy to see it was included in the mini set. The colors is quite interesting, and in first glance it reminded me of a previous polish by OPI from the Katy Perry collection - Not Like The Movies.
I was surprised to find that I only needed two coats for a full coverage, and the formula was really nice to work with. The purple-green duo chrome effect was pretty in the shade, but not as interesting in the sun light. Overall it's a pretty color but I wish the duo chrome effect was stronger, I think it would have been much prettier this way.

In the cable car-pool lane - Plum / Berry creme-jelly / 2 coats, no top coat.
I really loved this color in the bottle but as for the formula, not so much. I applied two coats, and they were a bit streaky for a creme-jelly formula. The final look isn't that great with just two coats. It did look ok in the shade but you can see the semi-bald spots in the photo I took in the sun.

Muir Muir On The Wall - Dark plum with gold and red shimmer / 2 coats, no top coat.
This one is also quite interesting and I liked it's color and the formula. The shimmery finish was pretty both in the sun and in the shade, so I was very pleased with it. I found it to be a bit sheer on the first coat but the second coat gave a great coverage.

First date at the Golden Gate - Classy red creme-jelly / 2 coats, no top coat.
I have to admit I wasn't sure about this color at first, because I don't really like orange tinted reds, but I came to love this color thanks to the great formula.
I would say it's formula is much better than the one In the cable car-pool lane has, which is quite surprising since they are both creme-jelly type from the same collection.
I think this color is very flattering ind classic, so I just might change my mind about these orange-tinted reds ;)
